Hey I saw your team ask about the Naruto characters and I was wondering if you could do one for the Masters and Servants of Fate Stay Night. I know you aren't a fan of the series from former posts so I'll give you a list to help out. Masters: Shirou Emiya, Rin Tohsaka, Sakura Matou, Kirei Kotomine, Illyasviel "Illya" von Einzbern, Souichirou Kuzuki, Zouken Matou, and Bazett Fraga McRemitz. Servants: Gilgamesh, King Arthur, Cu Chulain, EMIYA, Medusa, Hercules, Medea, Sasaki Kojiro, and Aŋra Mainiiu. Thank you for all your work! I find it amazing you've made so many quirks you'll be able to find Two abilities that fit them like the Naruto or Avatar post.

So the thing with a lot of Mages and Servants is that they have a lot of overcomplicated or overpowered nonsense in their kits. So for some of them, it's going to be more or an approximation of their power or something related to their Class then their own skills. And since I don't care about Sasaki and Angra, I won't cover them.

Somewhat before ShB and timey whimey timeline that was eventually pruned off. EW references ----------

His attention was on a white mask young woman in the black robe. At first, she was fiddling with a cat headed wand, but in mere moments the item transformed into a long bow. Its cat head at the top and paw at the end. Her purple hair companion then materialized his bow of twisted branches and they both proceed into a competition of shooting down apples by their stems. They laughed at the silliness of it all and then wave to him to join in on the fun. But he huffed out an annoyed reply and stomped off.

Earlier point in time probably after Camp Dragonhead with the small houses/lookout stations near the main path

And dumb spirits who appreciated being reunited with family, friends and lovers.” She passed him a bowl of soup. He stared at it before stirring the orangey tangy stew. “Even if for a mere moment? Should the person no longer remembers?” “You could ask her yourself you know." She indicated the white mage clinging to the arm of the red cloaked assassin. Unless the assassin was sent out for scouting trips or reporting on things. The couple was never far apart, much to the embarrassment of the dual wielding archer who she treats like her son. Which in turn earn the archer further teasing by his comrades. "She’s building new memories with her new-old family. Sometimes certain memories are ingrained so deeply. That one took time to acknowledge the difference though. At least he stopped running away after their third or was it fourth kid answered my summons.” His silence was the only answer for her. “They must have meant a lot to you to walk this path.” “Aren’t you doing the same? For her, for them.” “What else can I do to restore my world? There was nowhere else to go in that white emptiness.” “What else indeed.” He stared into the the bowl.

6 kids - Two Emiya boys, an Edlefelt girl(technically an Emiya) and three Einzbern girls by year 6. 7 if you consider a summer Prillya Alt an individual and 8 if future Avenger Khloe is considered as well.

I made it a point to reunite the Einzbern-Emiya family if possible. The parents are from a timeline where they never met but mom has memories of her other self because of her grail connection. the 3 younger girls are from the same timeline(sort of). the eldest girl might be from the official Fate timeline. And the two boys are alternate timeline version of themselves. The girls are very likely shards of each other. Let's not include young-old Gramps-Bro and leave him as Gramps.

I'ma share a few people that make me upsetti spaghetti but a few that i adore in my quest to convince you to play fate grand order

first, Nero Claudius. If you're into ancient history like my friend and I, the name comes off as a major 'not good person'. this is the emperor who turned Christians into wax candles. Fate said "lol what?" and um..did this. my friend and I both summoned her so in order to cope we just pretend that she's just Nero- it's easier to pretend than feel rage at the sight of her.

on the flip side this is Emiya, there's a lot of versions of him but this is his archer form!! and he was the first gold servant i summoned. ten/ten, he loves cooking and is very much a mom. Adore him.

looking back definitely giving black butler vibes but ANYWAYS this is the phantom of the opera, i love the guy but fate literally made him one of the worst assassins in the game. they did my boy so dirty. I was so upset about how they treated him that I came up with my own design, i stg. he deserved a little more thought. no not a little. a lot.

anyways um seriously!!! definitely would recommend it. PLEASE PLAY IIIIIIIT THEY GIVE YOU CHOCOLATE ON VALENTINES DAY AND THE EVENTS ARE FUN

Another Fate Grand Order thought for the fandom to like.

Ritsuka takes notice that Adelha tends to get a smile that is much bigger than usual whenever certain Servants are around. The head of Chaldea's Arboretum Project looking much more cheerful when she sees certain Heroic Spirits.

With Archer Emiya, Adelha will openly hug the man and shower him with happy greetings in Gaelic. She will give his cheeks eyelash kisses and just praise this good man with all of her affection. She does much the same with Emiya Alter, much to his annoyance. Senji Muramasa will get both his hands held by Adelha for her to smile at him with evident delight. Which makes the old soul smile back and note what a good lady she is.

Chiron will always get hugs from Adelha for him to pet her head gently and praise her on all her hard work. Sakata Kintoki tends to volunteer his help with various arboretum chores just for Adelha to praise him and have him blush. Gawain will get extra vegetables to munch on whenever he visits Adelha's workshop for her to spoil him just a little. All versions of Artoria tend to get mild lectures from Adelha, so each of them will do the utmost best to behave themselves around the reserve Master. While Fionn just gets openly scolded anytime he talks down about Diarmuid. Like full on getting his ear pulled and berated openly by Adelha in rapid fire German for her to cart Fionn away for punishment chores. All while Diarmuid tries to salvage the situation. (it's usually warranted though)

Mordred gets spoiled by Adelha. Like full on steaks and being the go to puppy sitter for Adelha's "Paw Posse" of five pups and one kitten. Adelha tends to view Mordred as a 'fierce warrior woman of attitude' and will openly compliment Mordred in this way. The first time Adelha did this, Mordred got furious and was very close to attacking Adelha for her words. Yet Adelha calmly challenged Mordred with the words, "You embody power in the form of womanhood mixed with bold challenge and are sassy and unbridled in spirit. Those who look down on you for being a woman are the ones who have chosen to openly wrong you. Mordred. Take pride in all of who you are." After this, Mordred never took offense to Adelha calling her a woman ever again and will smile when Adelha praises her as a fellow woman.

Adelha's personal Servants always get special love and affection. Nightengale will get sit downs for Adelha to do her braid and or socialize with the nurse. The Saber of Gilles de Rais is always there with Adelha for her bible study and long moments of spiritual discussion for her to also sneak him small meals he loves. Iskander is her adopted father and so the pair will openly shower each other in love and affection. But the Servant Adelha favors most is her Angel of Nocturnes, The Phantom of the Opera. She savors this Assassin as the greatest treasure and will openly keep him close by whenever she feels they need to have him be more out and about. Even if it's just with him being in spirit form next to her.

When it comes to Lancer Cu Chulainn or Caster Cu Chulainn, Adelha is obviously attracted to these two heroes. For different reasons. But the second they notice her and smile at her, Adelha blushes and beams at them with the most sappy smile possible. She will gladly sneak them venison jerky as much as she does cookies or honey rolls. Cu Alter is also greatly favored and spoiled by Adelha. Usually with entire huge platters of meat. Yet the one Ulster warrior Adelha spoils absolutely rotten is, to no one's surprise, Mini Cu. Adelha just adores and smothers Mini Cu in snuggles and face kisses as much as possible and will gladly keep Mini Cu with her at all times. Mini Cu basically gets kidnapped the moment Adelha spots him.

hi I’m here to ramble about something completely off the walls but it hit me so here I am

Fate series fighting game a la arcsys or french bread. it’d be so fun to have a new one since unlimited codes is uh. Old. and also I have a roster in mind.

16 characters for a base roster isn’t bad I think? it gives enough wiggle room for extra classes and then generally two per standard class, so it sort of makes sense in my head. into the roster itself, starting with…

SABERS: bedivere, nero

now. why not artoria? she’s the poster girl of fate, it’d make a lot of sense, but think: extra record is coming out eventually, artoria is in almost everything fate related she can be, and also I’m biased and want bedivere to be the shouto character and in more things than fgo. nero is extra series rep as mentioned and wouldn’t be a shouto character! I can see her being a charge character honestly

LANCERS: cu chulainn, karna, enkidu

best boys and also good popular picks. cu is from stay night (the first of several characters in fact) and karna is both apocrypha and extraverse so that’s a two-for-one. technically cu is too but it’s stay night cu I had in mind. also they’re both very different in terms of fighting styles despite both being lancers so it works out. enkidu is here because of the archer picks + added variety

ARCHERS: archer emiya, gilgamesh

listen. it’d be funny. and also you can’t have cu without archer, it’s not how it works. again, the difference in fighting style is notable, but more so can you imagine the dialogue. imagine it

RIDERS: iskandar, astolfo

for our first zero and second apocrypha rep, we have two characters on the complete opposite side of the spectrum! if you’re noticing a theme it’s variance because I think that makes for an interesting roster. one rider who fights on their mount and another who doesn’t is pretty good to me

CASTERS: medea, tamamo

once again, going for the early rep. if anything these two would be the most similar in base gameplay because they’re both zoners, but they have different game plans. I could see medea being a puppet character with kojiro or the skeletons and tamamo being set play ngl

ASSASSIN: izou

the lone assassin on the list, but he was the most grailed servant in fgo one year. let the man have his popularity translate to another game, because he’d be fun!

BERSERKERS: lancelot, frankenstein

the second zero rep and a third apocrypha. why? because I couldn’t think of another assassin to add. fran is unique and could work like other characters in other fighting games with a gauge or meter that you need to charge up. lancelot is here because I’m biased and needed another knight of the round, not to mention berserkerlot hasn’t been in anything since zero and fgo

EXTRA CLASSES: jeanne, dantes

is this a surprise. is it. they’re both super popular, dantes is in melty blood already, and if nothing else it’d be fun to have these two specifically fight.

Grant Morrison's Puella Magi Madoka Magica and All-Star Astro Boy

And then Naoki Urosawa's Joker, based off a particularly memorable Batman storyline about a murderer with a permanent smile across his face. It goes off the rails and ends with Red Hood (voiced by Sungwon Cho in the Netflix adaptation), a twisted reimagining of sidekick Robin, setting aside his pledge to kill all criminals to save Joe Chill from the Court of Owls.

Hideo Kojima's Fate/Stay Night. This one has extensive lore actually: "So you have Stay/Night as the first game, where Shirou cuts Kotomine's arm off. Unlimited Blade Works, where it turns out you're playing a rehash of the previous game as Sakura and Rider, to find out that Kotomine has been taken over by Gilgamesh after grafting their severed arm to himself Zero, which is a confusing story about Shirou's father and how it's about how they set up the Grail War initially. And finally Heaven's Feel, where Sakura has been turned into the Dark Shadow and Shirou has aged into Archer after Projection Overuse. It ends with an incredibly gay fight with Shirou/Archer versus Kotomine/Gilgamesh, afterwards Shirou retires to live a life of peace with the remaining time he has. And then an unrelated spinoff about Sakura eating people and facing off against the Mage's association and coming to terms with the fact she likes to eat the rich. A game cut short about Kiritsugu Emiya and his quest to end human trafficking where it turns out he's actually a homunculus made to think he's Kiritsugu. And a game that makes absolutely no sense whatsoever about an alternate universe where the ley lines broke or whatever."

FromSoft's Hollow Knight's Xbox exclusivity sadly prevents many from playing this materpiece of a game, which is a big disappointment for fans of their popular Castlevania series and the genre of "vanias" it spawned.

The story is basically the same, but all the music reference Stands have different names. For example, Pucci's stand's first form is Deep Purple, its second is Here Comes the Sun (still made by the Beatles but Pete Best stayed on as drummer), and its final form is of course named after Queen's final album Stairway to Heaven.

Terrible Visions

A scrambled timeline is a timeline that has proceeded much like ours, except that some particular facet has been mixed up all over the place. For example, in the scrambled timeline we will consider today, our world's fictional stories have been told by different people, and in different ways.

Bryan Lee O'Malley, in this alternate timeline, is best known as the cartoonist responsible for Homestuck, a popular comic series about a group of children who become embroiled in a cosmic-scale video game known as Sburb. Although Homestuck is probably most often associated with the cult classic Edgar Wright-directed film adaptation released in 2016, the comics themselves are highly-regarded, and the film brought a new audience to them. Netflix has commissioned an animated continuation, The Homestuck Epilogues, which is due to be released soon.

Andrew Hussie, on the other hand, is a figure you're likelier to know if you're overly online. His "MS Paint Adventures" series - most notably including Scott Pilgrim Vs The World, which is kind of like Homestuck but weirder and hornier - have firmly remained a fixture of obsessive Twitter fandom culture. It doesn't help that the best-known iteration, Scott Pilgrim Vs The World, is infamous for stretching thousands of pages of meandering digressions out of a simple and focused narrative starting point. Scott Pilgrim fans have developed something of a toxic reputation, which is not entirely deserved - although of course Knives discourse is interminable, and back in the fandom's heyday there were reportedly incidents of fans assaulting each other "for being evil exes".

Scott Pilgrim fandom was very big back in the day, though, and consequently it was a nexus for other creative figures who would go on to surpass Hussie. Perhaps foremost among these is indie developer Toby Fox. He was literally living in Hussie's basement when he produced ROSEQUARTZ, a universally-beloved retro Goonies-like RPG about a human hybrid boy born to a race of gem-based aliens. He's now developing an episodic spiritual successor, RAZORQUEST, with more overtly dark themes. It revolves around an inheritance dispute among a demon-summoning family.

Other foundational figures in this timeline's internet culture include Alison Bechdel, who helped get the webcomic scene started. Although she's now more seriously acclaimed for her personal memoirs, her gaming webcomic Press Start To Dyke, which premiered in 1998, was once everywhere. It had a broad appeal, and at its height, it was common to see even straight guys sharing pages from it. Time has not been especially kind to it, though, and at this point its main legacy is test.png, a meme spawned by one of the comic's most ill-advised pages.

Then there's John C. McCrae, more often known by his pseudonym Wildbow. A prolific and reclusive author of doorstopping "web serials" - long-form fiction published online - McCrae's best-known serial is still his first, Wind, a noir superhero story set in an alternate history where capes are mostly just a subculture of unpowered vigilantes. Wind landed in a culture already rife with comic book deconstructions, like Alan Moore's 2002 graphic novel Worm Turns, but it nonetheless managed to stand out from the pack with its extensive cast of characters and its themes of coordination problems and the end of the world. Later McCrae web serials include Part (the first "Otherverse" serial; an urban fantasy story about a couple who die in a car accident and find that they have become ghosts), Tear (a "biopunk" story set in a collapsing underwater city), Warn (the controversial Wind sequel), and Play (the second "Otherverse" serial, set in a small Indiana town that helps hide a psychic girl from the CIA).

Last and perhaps least, we should discuss J. K. Rowling. Far and away the most famous of any of these authors, Rowling's name is inseparable from the YA series that she debuted with, the Luz Noceda books, which remain her one successful work. Although it was heavily derivative of older fantasy novels - like Jill Murphy's Academy For Little Witches, or Philip Pullman's Methods Of Rationality trilogy - Luz Noceda was still a monumental and unprecedented success in the publishing industry, and the film adaptations were consistent blockbusters. The final book, Luz Noceda and the Watcher of Rain, contained some allusions to a romantic relationship between Luz and her recently-redeemed associate Amity. Rowling confirmed that this was her intent in subsequent interviews and indicated that she had fought her publishers for it; the film would then go on to escalate matters slightly further.

There have been many lengthy and heated online arguments as to whether the references in the book itself constitute text or mere subtext. Whatever your stance on this discourse, a new complication has been introduced recently: although she has put out no official statement on the matter as of yet, it has become quite apparent from Rowling's shrinking network of contacts and her conspicuous silences that she is certainly TERF-sympathetic, and likely an outright TERF herself. For many, this is leading to a critical reevaluation of the social values inherent in the Luz Noceda series; others, to say the least, are holding off on that kind of reappraisal.

Anyway, Scott Pilgrim just beat Luz Noceda in a Twitter poll for Most Gay Media, and people are piiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiissed

Apocrypha's probably one of the most "eh" installments in Fate, but at least we can all agree that the majority of those characters' designs were sick as hell. So uh, what the fuck is this? First question: why is he grey? Is it like a Hulk reference? Okay, I can get behind that. Second question: why is he in bdsm gear? Like I get that his whole thing is "Aggh! Oppression sucks!" but this is so uncomfortable to see in game. Imagine if you were going to war, and the dude next to you looked like he just got of a sex dungeon. His first and third ascensions are fine but this one is just, no.

Solution: Remove this stage and make some sort of mish-mash of the no armor and yes armor stages to replace it

Okay, here's the thing. I actually really like Kuro as a character. The Prisma Illya rerun was the second event I actually gave a shit about, Kuro's NP's super cool, and she was the only single target archer I had for a while.

Her design's actually pretty cool too. I love this version of EMIYA's outfit, and the torn cape is something I can fuck with. However, Kuro is canonically a fifth grader, and that is WAY too much skin for someone that young to be showing. That's it though, I like nearly everything else about her, and any issues I have would go away if she wasn't a minor.

Solution: Age her up ten years or so and we're good

EMIYA Alter has a similar issue to Kuro, in that he's really fucking cool... until you realize that's supposed to be Shirou Emiya, and it all comes crashing down. The sword guns are sick, and the shirtless sleeves are unique, but that man is not Japanese enough to be Shirou Fucking Emiya no matter how hard you look at him. This is such a big yikes that FGO NA actually editted his sprites so he's closer to EMIYA's original skin color, but even that wasn't really enough.

Solution: Make him an agent of the counter force who isn't Shirou. That fixes everything

Yeah, yeah, we all knew this was coming. Apocrypha's Jack the Ripper, in lore, is an expert example of why Fate should be allowed to stray from the source material. I love the idea that the discarded fetuses grew a conscious and started murdering people. Personally I feel that idea works better as an Avenger, but there's no way Jack the Ripper isn't an Assassin. Designwise, however, they are an expert example of why Fate shouldn't stray from the source material. This is creepy, and not in the kind of way Jack the Ripper is supposed to be creepy either. Give them some fucking clothes.

Solution: Give them actual, normal clothing for a child to wear and give this outfit to a different, adult character because it's lowkey kinda cool

Hey Fate? What the actual fuck is this?

First off, I feel Jeanne's Saintness would work more for a Santa than Jalter, but I digress.

Secondly, Jalter's already a ridiculously popular character, why did you turn her into a little kid? Who the fuck looked at the Firey Big Booba Goth GF and went "Yeah, that's cool, but what if she was 8?"

Finally, and frankly this is the worst offense, WHY IS HER CHEST JUST OPEN LIKE THAT? Like, you almost have a cute outfit, that actually looks somewhat normal on a kid, but then you gave her that giant ass chest window so we could see her bra. What the fuck.

Solution: Trash it. Trash all of it. You're better off just making a new Jeanne alt from scratch.

I’ve been looking at the tier list on the gamepress site, just to get a better idea of what kind of teams are possible for me. I still prioritize how much I like a Servant over how good of a Servant it is to use.

I think Saberstolfo seems to be good for a Saber, he’s in B tier. I need a good AOE Saber.

I have a lot of good Archers. Emiya is B-tier, Atalante and Chiron are B+, and Santa Nightingale is A. There are plenty of choices there for me.

I have FSN Cu for Lancers. And Prototype Cu, and Jaguar Warrior, but that’s about it? Need more Lancers.

I have Mandricargo and Medusa for Riders, for both AOE and Single target. So that seems pretty good.

I have Tamamo and Sieg for Casters. And apparently, Tamamo is much better than I thought? Might want to train up my Medea for her single target NP.

My Assassins seem lacking, I have Carmilla, but I don’t know if I like her. But I did notice I have Hassan of the hundred personas, and she’s apparently pretty good, so I might train her up.

And for Berserkers, I have Atalante Alter, who seems much better than my Nightingale. And that’s about it.

I’m still building my options for my teams, but it’s starting to look good. At the very least I almost have a good Servant for each type, and I’ve got my Archers covered.

I assume most Servants can do well if you raise them up enough, but it’s nice to actually take a look at what I have according to a list.

As of right now, Chief? Nope. No EMIYA Caster yet.

I'll not talk about Prisma Illya to those not in the know. The lore is nice, but some of the content shown in there really makes me feel like the FBI would be on every single Fate fan's ass.

“I’m sure I can’t beat Emiya’s skills, but it makes me happy to know you two enjoyed my cooking” The joy in Abby’s eyes and the wonder in Jackie’s all because of the fluffy stack of pancakes drizzled in maple syrup, surrounded by an assortment of colorful berries, and topped with a generous dollop of whipped cream made all the effort worth it.

While Abby was more refined with her movements, savoring each bite as if it were her last, Jackie couldn’t be bothered to use much table manners as she practically shoved every bite in her small mouth before going back for more.

You loved your babies so much.

“While I admit that anything your mother makes is nothing but perfection, I think you owe her a little respect by actually tasting her food. It’s very unbecoming to eat so messily, Jackie” Scolded your beloved Arjuna, who was of course technically their father considering you were the girls’ mother-figure.

Despite how harsh his words may seem, the brunette could never truly be angry at the more problematic one of his daughters. Rather, he was probably just fretting over the little things, but what can he do?

At least as normal as they could give her despite being servants and being involved in a fight where the fate of the world itself rested on their shoulders.

Arjuna felt his whole world crumble as if he’d unleashed a Mahāpralaya on himself.

AGH HI ok so crypter rin most likely comes from something like archer's timeline, though i'm not super sure about the specifics yet, but her lostbelt is about her self-isolation and manifests as the desert shirou lost himself in bc that's what she feels like she needs/deserves for her part in her war as well as forsaking humanity as a crypter.

again, i'm still brainstorming the specifics, but my thought is that the desert itself exists at a high altitude with thin air, but it's scattered with hidden pitfalls that take you far underground to what would be sea level. possibly (our) ereshkigalter as the lostbelt king, but still nothing's anywhere near set in stone.

and sétanta is the current pick for her servant! i need to flesh out their relationship a little more but rin has chronic big sister disease no matter what universe she's in and they'd have a cute dynamic. still working in lostbelt servants, but as for PHH servants i REALLY am leaning towards assassin emiya as a late reveal

What do you think Crypter Rin's Lostbelt would be? And maybe this AU could be one where Ritsuka summons Hakuno as a servant or something

Ok, I’m considering who I should use in this event. Musashi is a given, even without a partner she wouldn’t miss the opportunity to have fun. Muramasa might show up to check on things, watch everybody and leave, but he would join in if invited or if someone don’t have a partner and wants a chaperone. Waver and Gray would also go, the former more because of obligation and the latter because her teacher would go but be wary (last time she went to a gala it didn’t end well) but they would accompany any muse interested in going. Sieg would watch, he is a quiet lurker, so unless someone initiate contact he won’t. The Emiya crew... Assassin would take care of security, Archer would help in the kitchen but if anyone is interested in going with him then he would go. Same for Shirou. Saber would just lurk.  I think Avenger is the only one not interested in going, it is a bit ooc for him. He likes watching, that kind of spotlight is a bit overwhelming for him.
